The bed linen was poor &, unironed The dust on the floors was horrendous as it was on bed heads , picture frames & skirting boardsThe lighting in all the rooms especially kitchen was very poor , to see what we doing in the kitchen we needed to use our torchThe first contact we had from any member of staff was 3 days after our arrival , when a door mat was delivered because they had forgotten to leave one .

Very nice stay….I would recommend to others and would most definitely return. The lodge was clean and tidy upon arrival and is generally very well equipped for a comfortable stay. However it could do with a few things upgrading such as smart TV for connecting Netflix etc and the hot tub was quite old. Instructions for the hot tub would be useful…..unless we missed them somewhere? Few small points noted during our stay such as tub of cigarette ends in rain water were on the table outside upon arrival. We just moved them to one side. The wet room didn’t drain very well. Mostly plastic cups in kitchen which I understand are required for the hot tub but it would be nice to have proper glasses available indoor use.The ducks are wonderful…..very friendly indeed. None of this ruined our break….it was just a few observation which hopefully the managers / owners would consider constructive feedback.
