Guests enjoy the peaceful setting, the well-equipped facilities, and the thoughtful touches. The enclosed garden and hot tub are frequently mentioned highlights, as are the cosy wood burners and the property's suitability for dogs. While some minor issues are noted, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviews consistently mention the cottage being very clean and spotless, indicating high standards of cleanliness. The property's tidiness contributes significantly to guests' overall satisfaction.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and proximity to walking paths like the Shropshire Way. The rural setting and nearby village of Clun add to the charm, though some guests mention difficulty in finding the property.

Guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with special mentions of comfortable beds and furniture. However, some guests note low doorways and steep stairs, which could pose discomfort for taller individuals or those with mobility issues.

The facilities, including the hot tub, wood burners, and well-equipped kitchen, are generally appreciated. However, some guests mention a lack of storage and wardrobe space, and issues with recycling facilities, which slightly lowers the score.

While many reviews express gratitude for the welcoming touches and helpful hosts, there is no specific mention of gifts. Therefore, it is not possible to score thoughtfulness based on gifts, and the score is set to null.

We a really appreciated that the sitting room log burner had been lit as it was so warm and cosy when we arrived. The house had everything we could have wanted and the hot tub was a perfect way to end the day. There are lovely walks straight from the front door which our dogs thoroughly loved. We will most definitely return!

Only thing that was the weather wasn’t the best so had to travel around 30 minutes for the kids to do something indoors. This doesn’t take anything away from this cottage, we would definitely go again. We had to cut our stay short due to an issue at home but still enjoyed our shorter than planned stay.

Nice touch that wood burners were prepared on arrival needing only lighting. (November break) Comfortable stay, furniture a little dated, small tv in lounge & some kitchen equipment was unclean on arrival but did not affect our stay/enjoyment. Did have slight issue with heating & hot water, but hoists sorted it quickly. Car needed a good clean, rather uneven bridge (or “ford ) access only- working farm. Hot tub under the stars lovely. Mind your head walking around property and through internal low doorways, stairs could be tricky for less able people. Please explore Clun, Bishops Castle & Montgomery, so quaint.
