My son only stayed one night as the bedsette was very uncomfortable to sleep on. The shower was very difficult to manage and gave up on showering. The water was scolding so would not let our granddaughter use it on her own. They is no space to prepare a meal as it is full of crockery so made it hard. It has lots of niggles that need sorting. The owners are very nice and welcoming, and the garden at the front lovely, not sure about the noisey cockeral. We would not return as we left early on Wednesday morning. I do not normally write reviews and it will not go down well with the owners I am sure, but felt this time I should.

The owners were very friendly and helpful and we found everything we needed in the cabin. I’m surprised to read the previous negative review as we were very happy with our stay. There were three of us, with one older child sleeping on the sofa bed. She had no issues with this and found it comfortable. We were all able to take a shower as normal, the pressure was fine and leaving a short gap between guests having a shower solved the issue of continued hot water. The bed and sofas were perfectly comfortable (recliner sofas were nice to use at the end of a busy day). There were lots of utensils and the owners provided milk, tea and coffee - the free roaming chickens were great and eggs were left for us. There is not an oven as such but we were able to use the hob and use the microwave oven and grill to cook when we needed to. The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. We would definitely return to this peaceful area and property and would recommend to others.
