About this property

A charming detached lodge resting in the countryside landscapes of Bicton near Clun. Wander past the natural views and into this cosy little hideaway, perfect for couples or friends. First, you will come to an open plan living, kitchen and dining area, ideal for preparing your favourite dinner time meals, before sitting back in the comfortable armchairs to enjoy the spectacular uninterrupted views of the Clun valley. A woodburning stove is tucked into the corner, and this room creates a soothing atmosphere for an afternoon reading session. The kitchen is laced with bright lights and decorated with heritage colours throughout which projects a quality overtone from start to finish. Take the stairs and you will arrive at a contemporary styled bathroom with attractive features throughout. This leads round to a double bedroom which holds a calming feel and looks out over the garden. A super king-size bedroom is adjacent to this, with a far-stretching window backdrop of open fields and greenery. To the outside of the cottage, lies a lovely gravelled area with furniture, so that you can enjoy a glass of wine, close to the enticing scenery. If this isn't enough, why not take a soak in the lovely hot tub while you admire the views. Further afield, the village of Clun will bring you an abundance of wildlife, and beautiful unhindered walking and cycling routes to enhance your stay. You can also enjoy exploring the historic towns of Bishop's Castle, Presteigne, Ludlow and Shrewsbury. This retreat is a wonderful escape in a dreamy location.

A real find. It was just what we needed to relax and unwind. The facilities were clean and all there. The owner popped to welcome us and carry out the fire regulations talk and even gave us some tips of where to eat. Really wonderful property and owner. Thank you so so much we cannot wait to return xx

Private, very comfortable and excellent facilities. A lovely welcome pack, and the hot-tub was maintained daily - early morning whilst we slept. We were very well looked after. The location is gorgeous, with stunning views of the fields and hills, and on a clear night the night sky is full of starts...no up-lighting to spoil the experience. We were a party of 4 adults, looking to have a relaxing unwind. It was perfect in every way. I'd highly recommend this cottage for a stay.
