Guests consistently praise The Olde Cowshed for its cleanliness, peaceful surroundings, and welcoming touches such as wine and cake. The hot tub is a highlight, contributing to the property's relaxing atmosphere. The cottage is well-equipped, and the staff are noted for their helpfulness. Its location is ideal for exploring Shropshire, with some guests mentioning the need for a car due to its rural setting.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers frequently mention the spotless condition of the cottage upon arrival, indicating a very high standard of cleanliness that contributes positively to their overall experience.

The property is appreciated for its peacefulness and proximity to local attractions, though some guests note its isolation and the narrow access roads. The rural setting is ideal for a quiet getaway, but a car is essential.

Comfort is a strong point, with guests finding the property cosy and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. The spaciousness and quality of the furnishings are also commended, although one review mentioned limited space in the kitchen.

Facilities like the hot tub and games room are well-received, though there are comments about the need for 50p coins for the pool table and the games room equipment being basic or tired. The kitchen is noted as well-equipped by most, but one guest suggested it could be better stocked.

The thoughtful gestures of a welcome pack with wine, cake, and chocolates are frequently highlighted and appreciated by guests, although it is politely noted that such gifts, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The property was clean and comfortable and ideally situated in a very quiet rural location. Excellent heating system, which we actually had to turn down!

My daughter said it was the nicest cake she'd ever had! The property was bigger than I was expecting, lots of room for just the 3 of us and lots of outdoor space too, with the added bonus of the hot tub. The property was spotless and had everything we needed. It was great location for a Shropshire base, we visited Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Iron Bridge and Oswestry...all beautiful places. I would definately recommned staying here to anyone.
