Outside this delightful Clunton lodge, enjoy dining alfresco after an evening drink on the decked area, whilst trying to spot the visiting otters, kingfishers and ducks that visit the river. There are excellent walks and cycle paths leading from the doorstep through Shropshire’s Clun Valley, as well as the popular wildlife site of Clunton Coppice which is just a short walk away. Bury Ditches is also close by, boasting an impressive Iron Age earthwork fort, from which uninterrupted views stretch far across the horizon.
