We had very disappointing weather so local walks off the roads were impossible with muddy and waterlogged fields (so difficult for the farmer). However there were two excellent games rooms on site: table tennis, pool, darts etc which kept the teenagers occupied and we booked three private sessions in the beautiful pool and gym, pricey but superb. Lots of helpful information from Sara and outings to Ironbridge, Ludlow and Attingham Park. We had taken loads of eggs which was a shame as we could have collected them from the hens

Ideal location and facilities for a family stay. Host was always on hand for help and recommendations for local amenities.

There is a notice in Corn House asking for noise to be kept down but it was impossible to sleep in the Turnip House bedroom as partying next door went on until well after 2am. Otherwise it was a great place to stay for all ages and Sarah was very keen to be of assistance.
