With views across the countryside and to the hills beyond, the bungalow provides country-style accommodation, ideal for friends and family to spend time together all year round. Set all on one level, the bungalow has been furnished, in-keeping with its rural location with quarry tiled floors and parquet flooring adding to its charm. The country-style kitchen has a feature Rayburn stove (not in use) and is well equipped for your stay. Head on into the sitting room and snuggle up to the warming woodburning stove or, in warmer weather, throw open the French windows and step out onto the decked area to make the most of the garden and views beyond. The two bedrooms have attractive iron bedsteads, complementing the rural cottage style. The large conservatory is an ideal place for everyone to relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside views, to admire the pretty cottage garden or to stargaze late into the night. The garden slopes gently away from the bungalow and is a haven for birds with its mature trees and shrubs. The decked area is perfect for alfresco dining or relaxing with a good book. The region has much to offer, with fabulous walks and cycle rides on your doorstep. Why not spend a day or two exploring one of the many market towns, of which this area has plenty, including Ludlow, Shrewsbury and Church Stretton? The Longmynd and the Stiperstones offer stunning panoramic views and excellent walking and birdwatching or immerse yourself in Victorian lifestyles by visiting the nearby Acton Scott Working Farm Museum or one of the heritage sites at Ironbridge. With the excellent road links less than two miles away you can set off towards Herefordshire, Wales and Shropshire to sample any number of places of historical and geographical interest. A lovely, cosy bungalow, with old world charm, in a beautiful rural location, perfect for getting away from it all.

A perfect get away from it all property..Modern where you would expect it to be,otherwise olde worlde❤️ If you're dog owners,or bird watchers, this place is even more perfect.Sit on the settee in the lounge looking through the patio doors and watch birds of all varieties(our favourite was the daily visit of the Greater Spotted Woodpecker)then later,if you're lucky like us,watch glorious sunsets. The bungalow has a great shower, very warm and comfortable beds, everything you need in the kitchen, separate room for the fridge freezer&washing machine, along with a massive conservatory, which although a little cool in winter,is another big plus point for the property. The large, mainly secure garden, backs on to an open field with nice views.Plenty of parking space if you've more than one car. I've probably missed other plus points of this place, but l think I've said enough to say,we loved our stay here, and like many others,we'd gladly return.. PS.take plenty of peanuts for the birds.

Having the conservatory was a great plus although being cold. The only thing which should be improved was the lack of cleaniness, lots of round corners and lack of detail regarding that.

The weather was kind to us, and so we spent a lot of time in the garden enjoying watching the birds on the feeders. The quirky nature of the cottage really appeals to us, and it feels very homey and comfortable.
