The characterful charm continues within the bedrooms, which comprises of a double bedroom with its own en-suite and two additional double bedrooms to choose from. A stone’s throw away from the cottage is a superb selection of pubs and restaurants which are certain to satisfy all tastes, as well as a number of shops for picking up the essentials. Only a few minutes drive is the beautiful sandy beach at Skinningrove, which is dog-friendly throughout the year. Also in Skinningrove is the Mining Museum and the KasKane cafe. To keep you busy whilst staying here, venture to the coastal towns of Runswick Bay and Staithes with further amenities to explore, or venture to the sandy beach of Saltburn-by-the-Sea, offering opportunities for a range of watersports and to ride on the famous cliff tramway. Further afield, is the historical town of Whitby with its long stretch of sand, famous fish and chips, and the 199 steps up to the ruins of Whitby Abbey. Loftus is a village resting North of Whitby, on the coast of Yorkshire. Within the village you will find terraced houses, old stone cottages and a few stone dwellings. You will also find a selection of shops, eateries, pubs, banks and a town hall. Within close reach you will find coastal villages of Runswick Bay and Staithes, as well as the spa town of Saltburn with its golf club and long pier stretching over the wide sands.
