Outside is a shared courtyard with seating from where wonderful views can be admired. Longnor is the perfect place for a quiet countryside break, with walks and cycle rides on the doorstep, along with its pretty stone buildings and quaint little shops and cafés, making it a real gem. From here you have access to the breathtaking Peak District and all it has to offer, the towns of Bakewell and Buxton are short drives away and are certainly worth visiting with their shops, architecture, museums and parks. The village of Longnor is situated in the Peak District National Park and offers several shops, a Post Office, tea shop, a craft centre and a church. The market square is cobbled and a scale of market charges is still posted on a board outside the market hall. Close by is Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, the Spa town of Buxton, the market town of Bakewell and Alton Towers theme park.
