From this Peak District cottage you can head to the stunning Manifold Valley walking and cycle tracks, accessed from the village, or enjoy the adrenaline pumping rides of Alton Towers, just 6 miles away. This Peak District cottage makes for a wonderful and varied stay in this beautiful part of the region.

Winkhill is a tiny hamlet close to the Peak District National Park, two miles from the village of Waterhouses. Waterhouses has shops, pubs and eateries, and also offers access to the Manifold Trail, a long, flat track along the former railway line, much used by walkers, cyclists and horse riders. The Alton Towers Theme Park is a short drive away, and the rest of the Peak District National Park is on the doorstep.
