Bradwell is a lovely village near to lots of great walks and Castleton nearby is good for shops, the castle, pubs and the chip shop! We ate twice at The shoulder of Mutton pub in Bradwell and the food and service was excellent. It was a short walk from the cottage. The cottage itself was immaculately clean and very comfortable. I especially liked the gas fired wood burner which made the lounge really cosy. It is small and perfectly formed, you do have to mind your head on the stairs but it all adds to the charm of the place. It was very quiet at night so we slept well. The parking was much appreciated. I would recommend it for a couple visiting the area to partake of the many beautiful walks. Thank you to the owner for the lovely welcome pack.

It's very well equipped, very comfortable and in a lovely village which is convenient for walks in the surrounding area. Getting the car in and out of the parking space is a little tricky, but we managed it! Would definitely recommend the cottage.
