"A perfect weekend in this lovely cottage. Had everything we needed and was warm and comfy. Will definitely return!"

"Fabulous cottage with all Home comforts. Cosy and warm with local pub down the road and lots of lovely walks close by. Would definitely go back."
    Simon ‐ 22 Aug 2018
"Lovely cottage, beautifully furnished and decorated, loved the farmhouse kitchen and the deep roll top bath. Children loved meeting Bella one of the farm dogs too. Only negative for us was the noise from the water tank in the bedroom and the road noise."

"This is a superb holiday cottage and we've been several times. Excellent level of fitout internally and a great location, offering fantastic value for money. All the little touches that make the difference are thought about and whilst you're left to your own devices, the owners are always available whenever needed. The kids love playing with the friendly dogs as well as feeding the goats giving a wholesome, outdoor experience. The only minor negative is the busyish road running immediately adjacent to the property, which may be a problem for light sleepers, but a minor inconvenience at an otherwise 10/10 cottage. Will definitely come back...again!"

"We had a great holiday. The Cottage was one of the best we have stayed in. We had everything we needed."
    Janine ‐ 24 Jun 2018
"The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beautifully decorated to a high standard. The owner is welcoming and the fresh eggs are highly recommended. But the property is located by a busy road. You have no access through the farm to walk your dogs, so to access anything including walks you have to drive. The road is unsafe to walk your dogs as constant speeding traffic. If you come without dogs highly recommend."

"A very well presented cottage. We would be more than happy to stay again.Thank you."
    Russell ‐ 2 Jun 2018
"Lovely cottage. Very comfortable and spacious. The only drawback is the lack of a pavement on a quite busy main road making the walk to the local pub a little precarious."
    Nichola ‐ 24 May 2018
"What a fantastic stay, would not hesitate to recommend; friendly, helpful owners, beautiful spacious well equipped house in a stunning location. Fresh eggs straight from the hens for breakfast! Loved this place."

"Excellent location, very spacious and well equipped property."
    Karen ‐ 12 May 2018
"Fabulous stay at the wonderful marl house farm. Both bedrooms were very nice and spacious as was the bathroom with its roll top bath and separate shower cubicle. The living area was spacious with a lovely log burner and stone fireplace and the spiral staircase adds a touch of the unusual to it. The large farmhouse kitchen has everything you could need and the small enclosed courtyard area has seating and a bbq. We also bought fresh eggs from next door and the welcome bottle of wine was much appreciated and a lovely touch. The scenery in the area is stunning and we found it easy to walk with our dogs to the nearest pub just over a quarter of a mile away as a local told us about going through the wood opposite which comes out a few yards away from the house so no need to walk down the main road that has no path. The only downside for us could have been the noisy traffic as the bedrooms back onto a busy main road but we just bought some earplugs and the noise was gone. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend it to anyone! Hope to come back again."

"Cottage is lovely 😊 high spec kitchen Beds really comfortable Roll top bath very relaxing after a long walk Owner was so helpful we really enjoyed our weekend And will definitely be going back Even with our two little and I mean little negatives Which was the road noise and there’s no pavement from the cottage to walk dogs down to the pub on a main road Apart from that perfect 👌"
    Paul ‐ 27 Mar 2018
"Fantastic support - there was a problem with the heating and hot water on the first night but the response was immediate and everything was back up and running before the snow arrived. The snow was very heavy but the proximity to main travel routes ensured that access was maintained. The cottage location provides for a good range of walks, National Trust and local amenities. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. The hosts provide friendly and assured support in the event of any problems."

"excellent cottage and location for a walking week in Derbyshire peak district also handy for a day at the football in Manchester.thank you"
    Damien ‐ 10 Feb 2018
"Lovely little cottage. Bottle of wine on arrival a nice touch. All the mod-cons you could want. Internet was a tad patchy at times, but that was only a tiny blemish. Well located for getting away, but easy driving distances to busier towns. Overall we had a very nice stay."
