The village is a popular base with keen walkers with its easy access to Kinder Scout, as well as the Pennine Way and Snake Path being within easy reach too. There is a good selection of pubs, cafés, shops and restaurants within the village too, as well as the spa town of Buxton and Stockport being in easy reach too for even more amenities and attractions.
