About this property

Combining contemporary with traditional, this elegant and extremely comfortable home is a perfect base to explore the peak district and beyond. Enjoy the views from each of the 4 storeys, or from the private garden; the house backs on to the village cricket field, the heart of the village, and there are wonderful views of the village and hills beyond. On match days, the garden is a great vantage point to view the cricket, you can even see the scoreboard without getting up from your seat! Stepping into the spacious hallway with separate cloakroom and WC, you will find the kitchen diner on your right where an afternoon snack will be awaiting your arrival. The kitchen is well equipped and adjacent to one of the main sitting rooms with dining table. You have the option of a second sitting room at the garden level, this is a good spot to take time out, settle down with a good book, catch up on work or watch a DVD. Seek comfort after a full day of fun in one of the four good sized bedrooms, choosing from a double with a Juliet balcony, a further double, a twin and a master suite with king sized bed and en suite at the top of the house. All have snug settings, comfortable beds and ample storage space. Begin your mornings on the private terrace with a good coffee in hand, as you return, utilise the rear entrance via the ginnel, a boon for cyclists!
