Positioned in the north-west corner one of the UK s most impressive National Parks Eastry Cottage is located on the edge of the market square in the charming village of Castleton. For walkers there are various options for exploring the landscape and for those seeking a bit more adventure the nearby Mam Tor provides an excellent spot for parascending and hang gliding. A short drive from the cottage and guests will find themselves in Edale which is the beginning of the challenging Pennine Way. Entering the 200 year old cottage guests find themselves in a comfortable lounge with a stone fireplace that provides a central feature to this cosy space. The fully equipped kitchen is located at the rear of the cottage complete with exposed beams that add a wonderful sense of character and charm to the property. There is an intimate area for dining in or why not head out to one of the village pubs to meet the locals Upstairs there are two bedrooms; one with a double bed and the second containing two single beds. The bedrooms windows perfectly frame the spectacular views across Castleton and the rolling hills beyond. There is a bathroom on this floor with a bath shower-over toilet and hand basin. Outside a few steps lead up to a pretty patio seating area with captivating views across the rooftops of the village a wonderful space for unwinding amidst the goings on of village life.
