It was very comfy and well equipped. Beds very comfy and we slept well. The log burner kept us very warm downstairs as it was a very cold weekend when we stayed there. Did find that the upstairs was cold at night as the heating seemed to turn off early. It might be our age but we found the tv very complicated to work and were unable to find any normal channels. Other than that we had a great stay and the cottage was situated in a good position.

So easy to get around as 2 bus services from the village cover most of the Peaks so we had loads of linear walks and pub vists , at £21 for a week of travel over all Derbyshire we didn't use the car once . So much so see and great to have a peaceful warm base to return to each day . 100% happy

We spent a lovely week there in late November .It was extremely cold but the cottage was warm and cosy. The beds are supremely comfortable and the shower is really good . The cottage is equipped with everything we could want and everywhere was spotlessly clean . Tideswell is a really lovely village and we will definitely be booking the cottage again .
