You are ideally placed in this historic town, with easy access into the neighbouring towns and villages for a full experience of this picturesque setting. Situated in Buxton itself is the Victorian botanical gardens of The Pavilion Gardens, the limestone caves of Poole's Cavern offering plenty of hiking trails, a park and picnic area. Also nearby is Buxton Museum and Art Gallery, Go Ape adventure park with thrilling zip wires and other outdoor activities. With so many sites to see, you'll find it difficult to fit everything into one visit! Gabriel Cottage is the place to be for sightseers interested in the town's rich history.
