Snaptrip says

Cobbled Corner is a well-received cottage in the Peak District, praised for its comfort, excellent location, and friendly hosts. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, powerful shower, and cosy atmosphere. The cottage's cleanliness and maintenance receive positive remarks, with special mentions of the welcoming touches like home-baked goods.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage is generally described as clean and tidy, with only a few minor comments about a stained kitchen sink. The overall impression is that the property is well-kept.

The location is highly praised for its picturesque village setting and proximity to local attractions and walks. The peaceful environment and easy access to Derbyshire sights contribute to a positive experience.

Comfort is well-regarded with a cosy and snug atmosphere, though there are some remarks about the sofa being low and difficult for elderly guests. The bed is noted to be comfortable and the property is suitable for guests with mobility issues.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen and a powerful shower being highlights. However, comments about the need for new settees and blinds, and intermittent Wi-Fi signal suggest some areas could be improved.

The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, with several guests mentioning the warm welcome they received, including home-baked goods and wine. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it's noted that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed.

Reasonable amount of storage for clothing which is often an issue in smaller holiday lets, although I am a man & was on my own. Clothes junkies might not agree. Plenty of walks from the door & lots of places within a short drive. I would have prefered a fridge with an ice box & would always prefer a washing machine over a diswasher (never seen the point of them, especially for two people). Anything longer than two weeks would start to become an issue if you are out & about walking or cycling & getting muddy. That said it does mention this in the booking details so it wasn't a problem. Would definately stay again & would reccommend to others.

Everything you could wish for is provided. Located in the sleepy village of Elton there are numerous walks from its doorstep and a shop in the next village which takes approx a 30 minute stroll. There is nowhere to eat in the village itself but there are little villages round and about that do have places. The cottage was spotlessly clean, with central heating and an electric fire if you get cold. The wifi for us was great and the shower was powerful. We chose not to watch the tv, but it is provided along with several dvd's. We didn't notice the local attraction leaflets until we were leaving! But we were very content with exploring the area ourselves. Many thanks to our lovely hosts Michael and Gill, for the wine and for being there if we needed you, but not being intrusive at all. It really was a pleasure to stay in your wonderful cottage and to meet you and your son. All in all we had a much needed rest and will definitely look to book the cottage again if we are visiting the area.

Excellent village location in close driving distance to the sights and activities of Derybshire such as Buxton, Bakewell and Matlock. Very clean and comfortable. Only minor niggles were: lack of space for our luggage (we had to place it on the sofa, so then we only had the bed to sit on as it's a one room studio space; the TV /radio was very temperamental - often main channels such as BBC 1 couldn't be found or no signal at all for hours); there wasn't a freezer compartment in the fridge so we couldn't store ice cream etc. We would 100% recommend.
