The kitchen area is amply-equipped with everything you will need to set you up for a weekend in the countryside. The dining room is perfect for getting together over a scrumptious meal and discussing the day's activities. The property boasts four bedrooms situated across two floors, offering a king-size, a double, twin beds and a single with a trundle. The family bathroom offers a lovely bath and shower over, where you can retreat to a warming bath tub for a relaxing soak with a well-deserved glass of wine. In the summer, take a snack or a refreshing drink out here and simply let the astounding countryside scenery soak in. While you're in the area, visit The Heights of Abraham, a hilltop park accessed via a cable car, with cavern tours, delightful walking trails and fossil exhibitions and an on-site café or venture towards the pretty village of Matlock Bath or the thriving market town of Bakewell for a range of other attractions, pubs, restaurants, shops, cafés and tearooms to explore. Boasting the stately home and lush gardens of Chatsworth House within driving distance. Return to Ivy Mount for an evening with your loved ones in front of the fire.

The popular Peak District town of Matlock, together with its neighbour, Matlock Bath, has been attracting visitors to the area since the spa was developed in the late 17th century. Set in the beautiful wooded gorge of the River Derwent, the Matlocks offer a range of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a host of attractions including Gulliver’s Kingdom and the Peak District Mining Museum. Magnificent views down the gorge can be enjoyed from the cable car which takes visitors up to the Heights of Abraham – a great place for all the family with its showcaves, nature trail, water gardens and Owl Maze. South of the town is the start of the High Peak Cycle Trail, whilst a short drive away is the National Tramway Museum at Crich. To the north are the market town of Bakewell and Chatsworth House and Park - not to be missed!
