Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently mention the property's cleanliness, with remarks on well-kept bedrooms and common areas. A few minor points, such as unclean outdoor furniture and a need for more thorough checks on light bulbs, slightly affect the score.

The property's location is appreciated for its proximity to local pubs, shops, and attractions, with easy access to walking routes. However, some guests note the presence of a busy road and quarry traffic, which impacts the tranquility expected from a rural cottage.

Overall, guests find the beds comfortable and the property warm, with ample space for relaxation. Some guests mention issues with mattresses and coldness at night, suggesting room for improvement in ensuring consistent comfort for all visitors.

The property boasts multiple well-stocked kitchens and modern bathrooms, which guests find impressive. However, reports of malfunctioning ovens, tricky showers, and inadequate lighting lead to a lower score in this category.

While guests express satisfaction with the property's amenities and the enjoyable experiences they had, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

We have had a great time. The house is beautiful with everything you could possibly need. So much character and little nooks and crannies to explore. We spent most of our time in the first floor sitting room, as it has a kitchen for drinks and snacks. The kitchen on the lower ground floor was perfect for all of us to sit around and eat, the mill wheel window is stunning. Cromford itself is so pretty. I just didn't want to leave, we will definitely be back.

There was lots of room and we lost the kids a few times! There was a problem with the kitchen door but this was quickly resolved when we reported it. It would be a good idea to have a few plastic beakers for the kids to drink out of.
