About this property
S44631 is ideally situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park in the popular village of Bonsall.
In an ideal area for a romantic holiday, the gardens extend to approximately two acres, the main feature of which is a delightful mill stream which cascades through the gardens over a series of waterfalls, with several small bridges criss crossing the waterway.
Bonsall is a delightful historic village nestling in the Derbyshire Hills surrounded by wooded hillside with pleasant walks and fine views. There are two pubs in Bonsall, only a 10-minute walk up the hill from the property. Just over a mile away is Cromford, home of Sir Richard Arkwright, where there are a variety of shops and several pubs and places to eat.

Excellent cottage. Very spacious and roomy.Confirmed Guest ‐ 28 Dec 2016
S44631 was fabulous, perfectly situated for our cycling weekend and only a couple of miles from Matlock. The cottage was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. The welcome hamper was superb. Will definitely go back again. Thank you Anita & ColmConfirmed Guest ‐ 14 Sep 2016
The cottage was excellent, lovely and clean and in a great location to explore the Peak District.Confirmed Guest ‐ 5 Sep 2016
Due to its setting, the cottage is dark. We have used Snaptrip many times and one of the features is the provisions, which are in many cases, locally sourced. The provisions left for us lacked any regional theme. The cottage is faultless. These are observations, not criticismsConfirmed Guest ‐ 4 Sep 2016
Lovely cottage - very well furnished, clean and bright - and the welcome pack was very welcome and well stocked - the wine was especially welcome as we arrived late due to bad traffic all the way from London!Confirmed Guest ‐ 31 Aug 2016
Lovely clean property and welcoming proprietor. The hamper needed something to represent the area, a Bakewell tart for example, not the local Sainsburys.Confirmed Guest ‐ 28 Aug 2016
Beautiful cottage, lovely setting. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very high standard of furnishings and fittings. Perfect! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage and would definitely book again in future.Confirmed Guest ‐ 8 Aug 2016

Lovely cottage - everything we could need was thoughtfully provided - the thorntons chocolates were a nice touch given it was valentines weekend. Fantastic location - wish we could have stayed longer!Confirmed Guest ‐ 23 Feb 2016
Very comfortable and well-stocked cottage - very well-placed for visiting local areas of interest - really helpful having the two pubs just up the road for eating at night.Confirmed Guest ‐ 9 Feb 2016

Lovely weekend in a fantastic cottage, hamper wonderful. Fountain Tearooms a great find for tea and cake after a muddy, slippy but great walk. Breakfast not bad there either - Sunday morning treat. Thank you. PM, YorkshireConfirmed Guest
