Bakewell is a thriving market town with plenty going on, and just a stone s throw from the rolling hills and trails of the national park. Explore the shops and cafes or why not try a famous Bakewell Pudding or visit the markets on a Monday. For those looking to soak up some local culture, historic Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall can be reached by foot or car. The cottage is entered into via the spacious sitting room, which features an oak floor, Victorian cast iron gas coal effect fire and large sash windows. Decorated in warm tones, this room is a cosy space in which to relax after a long day of walking. Next door the kitchen and dining room has been decorated in a country farmhouse style, with decorative splash back tiles, stone flooring and a door to the patio outside.
