"Perfect place in perfect location to enjoy the Peaks and all the glorious walking it has to offer. Good pubs in village; attended Remembrance service in local church who also accommodated our dog, as did pubs and cottage. Cottage was very homely and comfortable. Thank you."

"Tree Tops was very clean, warm and well-equipped; we loved our short stay here. Well-located for local attractions and the village itself had many amenities (tearoom/pubs/lovely walks). Only downside was the steep garden as our children couldn’t run about and the garden wasn’t enclosed for our dog. However, this didn’t cause a major problem, mainly because of the time of year so didn’t require the garden that much. It was lovely to have cake, a selection of teas and milk upon arrival. We’d stay again."

"Fantastic find!Very clean and well equipped holiday cottage. Lovely homemade cake to greet us along tea, coffee and milk all provided. Lots of fluffy towels along with some toiletries. I picked this holiday cottage for the fantastic reviews and it didn’t disappoint. A lot of love care and time has gone into this property, we will definitely return.😃"

"Tree Tops is delightful - beautifully clean and comfortable and a great location. Heather offers a home baked welcome cake and the books on local walks very useful. Heather kindly returned my things after my careless packing for home ! Highly recommend."

"LOVED our stay here. One of the best cottages we have stayed in. Fantastic location in which to explore the peaks. Superbly clean and well equipped cottage. We will definitely be returning, cannot recommend this place highly enough :-)"

"The second time we have stayed here. Love being able to walk from the door without getting in the car. So many facilities in the village too - love getting suppers from Peak Feast as well as the excellent pubs and village shop."
    Alan ‐ 18 Aug 2019
"Lovely clean cottage in a great location. We could not fault the amenities within the cottage as there was everything we needed. We arrived to find a delicious Victoria sponge cake and a pint of milk which was just what we needed after a long journey. The only downside for us was the access to the patio garden for our dogs. Three pubs in the village, one being The Bulls Head (family run pub) which served great food and beer. A great base to visit all of Derbyshire."
    Sarah ‐ 10 Aug 2019
"Really lovely, well equipped cottage. We hope to return!"
    Emma ‐ 3 Aug 2019
"This cottage is excellent. The pictures don’t really do it justice. It is more spacious than we had expected and is spotlessly clean. There are a lot of thoughtful touches, like plenty of massive fluffy towels and a homemade sponge on arrival. It is very well-equipped with things like kitchen utensils and cooking vessels, toiletries and pegs. The utility room on entry is very useful, with extra fridge and full size freezer, washing machine, separate tumble drier, and drying rack. A good place for wet boots and coats!Behind the cottage is a pleasant view of the valley. We saw a woodpecker and squirrels in the trees, and also heard an owl. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep - you don’t need to get in the car first to find a picturesque spot that links up with a choice of varied and interesting footpaths. It is also not far to find other attractions if you want to drive: within about 20 minutes are Bakewell, Haddon Hall, Chatsworth and Matlock Bath. There is a public car park just opposite the cottage, which has a good amount of space. There is an honesty box to donate £2 for its use."

"A return visit - the cottage is in a great location with lovely views. Clean and welcoming - the cake was delicious and the toiletries much appreciated. Despite two weeks of mostly rain we had a great holiday it was lovely having Tree Tops to return to after a damp day out - it is well equipped, comfortable and relaxing. When next in Derbyshire we will re-book - the best cottage we have had in this area."

"Exceptionally clean traditional property which was very well equipped. A little disappointed with the outside area at the rear of the property but this was mostly due to neighbours scaffolding one side and the other neighbours unkempt garden the other. Steep steps down to a small neat lawned area with lovely views and patio area with wooden table and chairs that needed some tlc. Situated on the edge of a lovely village with lots of walks direct from the cottage. Good amenities close by including 3 pubs. Small post office and good bakery in the village too. Good proximity to many of the areas best attractions."

"A delightful cottage! Extremely well equipped and the choice of DVDs, board games, books and magazines were also great! Lots of towels too! The little touches like a selection of tea/coffee/sugar and the toiletries were also thoughtful extras that really do make a differenceThe welcome cake and pint of milk were lovely touches and very much appreciated! Youlgreave is a lovely village and the walks from the door are super.I wouldn't hesitate to come back here :)"
