    This spacious detached property has enough room for all the family to enjoy a wonderful holiday in the Peak District National Park.
    Wyedale is a spacious detached property accommodating up to 12 guests, and has been lovingly converted into a wonderful holiday home. Who could ask for a better location for your holiday than in the market town of Bakewell, famous for its Bakewell Pudding which can be found in many of the local shops. With each of the five bedrooms offering en-suite facilities, and two of which benefit from being on the ground floor, this fantastic property is ideal for less mobile guests. The large inviting living room can be found on the ground floor, as well as the well-equipped kitchen with all you need to cook up a tasty family meal. The property also benefits from having its own games room, complete with a pool table and 7 foot table tennis top which can be placed on top of the pool table to convert it into table tennis, perfect for children and adults alike. Outside there is a large patio with garden furniture, ideal for dining al fresco.
    Ideally situated opposite the Bakewell recreation ground, the property is perfect for families. Bakewell is a popular market town in the heart of Derbyshire, offering a wide selection of shops, restaurants and pubs, and even a local farmers market where you can buy locally sourced produce. Chatsworth House and Estate and Haddon Hall can both be found nearby, and make a wonderful day for everyone to enjoy. The Monsal Trail is also close by and is ideal for walking, cycling and horse riding, and starts in Bakewell and will take you to the outskirts of Buxton. The beautiful Hope Valley in Matlock, has cable cars which will take you to the Heights of Abraham. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

    "We stayed at Wyedale to celebrate my 40th birthday. The cottage is a home from home, we wanted for nothing. Very clean & tidy with all ensuite bedrooms & comfy beds. The owners were very helpful & the info book was very detailed which helps when visiting a new Town. The location is fantasic with a short 10 min stroll into the lovely Town. Would definately recommended Wyedale as a place to stay."

    "Spacious house, suited 2 families very well. Location is perfect for exploring Bakewell on foot and the Monsal Trail on the bike. Great to have use of the garage to store our bikes too. All bedrooms ensuite which was a lovely treat. Well equipped kitchen with one large (food) fridge and an extra under counter fridge (drinks!) which is also very helpful with a big group. Everything was lovely and clean throughout. Kids appreciated the extras with the pool/ table tennis table and the playstation! Would definitely recommend a stay here."

    "This is a splendid property for a large group and we had a lovely weekend celebrating a family 'milestone' birthday. The property was excellently presented and the kitchen well equipped, appropriately so for a property sleeping 12 people. Located within a quiet residential development, the centre of Bakewell is only a few minutes walk away, across a public park - the only busy road has a conveniently sited pedestrian crossing, so it's a safe route for children. The owners clearly have an eye for detail and the welcome pack was a very pleasant surprise. We have rented a large self catering property annually for many years in different parts of the country and Wyedale really is the best we've come across. Just one thing to mention: whilst every bedroom is ensuite, there's no separate lavatory, so if you arrive after a long journey needing 'the facilities' in a hurry, just head for the nearest bedroom - it's off the kitchen diner! We have no hesitation in highly recommending Wyedale and look forward to a longer visit in future."

    "A reunion of eight friends. We enjoyed the fact that we could walk to the centre of town and to restaurants, of which there were several to chose from. The property has en-suite bedrooms and is well equipped. The owners have thought about what one needs when away from home, the welcome pack was better than in most places we have stayed in previously."
