On-site, the park provides a wide variety of activities for all ages and tastes including woodland trails, outdoor activities and archery Robin Hood style, an animal corner, bug hotel and bird feeding viewing wall, as well as swimming pool. Whilst off-site there is a huge range of places to visit many on the doorstep including the fabulous brand new rspb Visitor Centre in Sherwood Forest just 3 miles away, and the beautiful Rufford Abbey Country Park a short stroll away.

Really spacious and pleasant. A most enjoyable stay.

Great holiday, this is our third time there and have tried different lodges around the 'lake'. I would say that the worktops unfortunately let down the newly installed kitchens as water gathers around the sink and they have now gone black. it would be a good idea to check the silicone before guests arrive as this can be easily and quickly replaced and gives a better impression of the new bathrooms. The staff are lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed the archery with Craig. Great site, with amazing woods on your doorstep and great tyre swing! Rufford abbey is a lovely walk away and has a great park. The sports hall facilities kept my two very happy, tennis, badminton, basketball hoop, table tennis, bowling, ball target and ground draughts! Plus a small indoor play area. Swimming pool is on the cooler side for us but we found a leisure centre 5 mins away with an indoor slide. We will definitely be returning again 

Lovely cabin, very spacious, beds are a bit uncomfortable but this is the only downside! Lots of room.
