The kitchen has plenty of units and work space for cooking up family dinners, there’s a large dining table and chairs with room for all guests to be seated at mealtimes. French doors open out to small patio area. Accommodation is over 3 floors with 3 bedrooms, including a master ensuite with four poster bed and family bathroom on the first floor and a further 2 bedrooms on the second floor.

Newbiggin by the Sea has the first permanent offshore sculpture in the UK called 'Couple' - a man and a woman standing together looking out to sea. If you can tear yourself away from the stunning coastline, head inland - just a 5 minute drive and you’ll reach Woodhorn Country Park and Northumberland Museum. The market town of Morpeth has some good shops, pubs, restaurants and a leisure centre, Bagpipe Museum and Chantry Craft Centre. Hexham, Hadrian's Wall and the Roman Fort of Housesteads lie to the west and are well worth a visit. Further north lies the ancient town of Alnwick famous for its castle and gardens and Holy Island, accessible by causeway at low tide. Druridge Bay Country Park and beach t combining bird watching, walking, canoeing and board sailing.
