Just a short drive from the coastline and Alnwick, Cedar Lodge is the perfect base for a family or group of friends who wish to explore Northumberland’s attractions. Step into the lodge and you are greeted by a welcoming, open-plan living area featuring a modern kitchen, dining area and sitting area - the perfect place to relax and unwind in front of the electric fire after a coastal walk. On warmer evenings, you can open the patio doors and enjoy a glass of wine on the decking. To the rear of the lodge you have two well-presented bedrooms; a master double room with an en-suite and walk-in wardrobe, and a cosy twin bedroom. A family bathroom completes the accommodation. Surrounded by manicured lawns and woodland to the rear (you might even spot a deer here!), this idyllic lodge offers plenty of space for the children to play. Enjoy warm summer evenings and dine alfresco on the rear patio area, or make use of the parks leisure facilities, a children’s play area and tennis courts, also the 18 hole pay-as-you-play golf course. From Percy Wood Country Park, you are a short drive from the historic town of Alnwick. Explore the castle and gardens, discover the regions history in the museum or enjoy hearty meals in one of the many pubs and restaurants. The coastline can be reached in under half an hour, including the sandy Alnmouth beach and Craster beach. An excellent holiday home to be enjoyed by the whole family.

The village has Nelsons, situated in the sports hall, which is open seven days a week, serving coffee and meals, a children’s play area and tennis courts. It is just seven miles from Alnwick, with its castle and garden, which features Europe's largest cascading water feature, an enormous tree house, a rose garden and an ornamental walled garden. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the Harry Potter films. Alnwick offers a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat.
