This lovely romantic cottage sits in the outskirts of Belford and makes the perfect little hideaway any time of the year. Couples can enjoy each others company in this calming location, which is an ideal base to return to after a day of travelling or exploring. The tranquil ambience will reach you on arrival, and the sound of the water flowing in the nearby stream is instantly relaxing. Wandering inside, the cream coloured kitchen has everything you need to dine or enjoy breakfast with your loved ones. The living area boasts a characterful ceiling and comfortable lounge seating. The ground floor is also home to a cloakroom. Stairs will lead you up to a double bedroom complete with a balcony, so after a peaceful night's sleep, you can watch the morning sunrise. A second stairway leads up to a bathroom, hosting both a bath and a shower so you can relax in the evening or get ready ahead of your afternoon. Outside is where you will want to be, resting on the lounge chairs or admiring the lily pond and charming grounds that surround the cottage. Belford itself is an old coaching village with a pleasant square and a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants along with a nine-hole golf course. Cross to Holy Island to visit the historic Lindisfarne Priory. The village of Bamburgh, with its sweeping beaches and dramatic castle, is only a short drive away. Take in the scenic delights of this picturesque Northumberland village.

Belford is an ancient village, having been in existence since before medieval times. The centre of the village is the market square with its cross dating back around 300 years. Today it is a quiet village which gives visitors easy access to the Northumberland Coast, the Cheviot Hills and the Scottish Borders. Belford itself has a variety of smaller interesting shops, as well as the usual shops and facilities available in a large village.
