This mid-terrace cottage offers luxurious character accommodation. The sitting/dining room is beautifully furnished and has character beams, as well as a large stone built hearth housing a woodburning stove. Upstairs has vaulted ceilings and exposed beams and there are two luxurious bedrooms, the master fitted with a king-size bed and a spacious bathroom complete with a freestanding roll top bath, a separate walk-in shower and WC. A wonderful base.
The picturesque Northumberland village of Belford lies in the heart of Heritage countryside, midway between the popular walled towns of Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed. The pretty coastal village of Bamburgh, with its sweeping beaches and dramatic castle, is only a short drive away. Belford itself is an old coaching village with a pleasant square and offers a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants and a nine-hole golf course. It is ideally placed for exploring the Cheviots, the renowned Northumberland Coastline and the Scottish Borders.

The beds were super comfy and loved the bath ! A lot of tiny flies all over the bathroom wall on one evening â¦maybe the weather ! We were surprised by the lack of anything in the food cupboardsâ¦.generally there are a few essentials others have left , like olive oil , sugar or black pepper. Also we would have loved a pint of milk on our arrival for tea ! Although there was a wonderful supply of bottled water which we enjoyed ! Generally it was all excellent .

The cottage is beautiful and set in a great location with everything you need. Close to so many sites in Northumberland. The dogs enjoyed it too and the garden was so safe and secure for them. Beds really comfy. Just a couple of little things, no oven gloves so had to use tea towels which we didnât want to damage. No hand wash in kitchen. Slightly disappointed that no welcome pack, but didnât spoil our holiday as we always come prepared. Loved it so much going back again next year.
