The spectacular Alnwick Castle is also nearby, as is a fabulous National Park in which birdwatchers can enjoy sightings of various unusual species. In addition, the National Trust's Cragside House and Gardens are just ten minutes to the west, and with the Heritage Coastline and its sandy beaches waiting only fifteen minutes down the road, you'll be spoiled for choice of things to see and do.
