Snaptrip says

Guests consistently praise the lodge for its immaculate condition, peaceful and beautiful setting, and the convenience of its location for exploring Northumberland. The property is well-received for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and well-equipped facilities. The hosts are noted for their discretion, though some guests would prefer a warmer welcome. A few minor suggestions for improvement are made, but overall, the lodge offers a restful holiday experience with lovely views and a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and their pets.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers frequently mention the exceptional cleanliness of the lodge, describing it as spotless and immaculate. The consistent emphasis on the property's cleanliness across multiple reviews suggests a very high standard maintained by the owners.

The lodge's location is highly praised for its quiet, rural setting with uninterrupted country views, and its proximity to local amenities and attractions. It serves as a convenient base for exploring the surrounding areas of Northumberland, including nearby villages and the coast.

Comfort is generally well-regarded, with guests finding the lodge very relaxing and the furnishings comfortable. However, a few guests mentioned issues with the size of the bed and the low sofa, which slightly impacts the overall comfort score.

Facilities are considered excellent, particularly the kitchen and bathroom. Some guests suggested the addition of more kitchen equipment and clearer instructions for waste disposal. The presence of a large dog exercise field is a notable plus.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts is evident in the provision of a complimentary bottle of wine, which is mentioned in several reviews. However, as gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, this score reflects the positive sentiment while acknowledging the variability of this gesture.

Very quiet and lovely and clean. The view was magnificent from the window . The big field we walked around every day was perfect for our two dogs very safe. I know we weren’t very far from other places to visit but we just needed a chill out area to pick us up . Would definitely be back . Thanks for the wine
