We were very lucky with the weather for the middle of February with blue skies and sunshine for all but one day. All the interesting places were easy to reach, although some castles etc. didn't open until March, but it didn't stop our enjoyment and we packed a lot in. We were disappointed that the promised 'welcome pack' was missing, but we had taken milk so we had a cup of tea after our journey which was essential. Apart from that, everything was provided to a high standard.

We had a fabulous week exploring Northumberland. Our little dog came with us she had a great time running for miles on Bamburgh beach. Most places we visited were dog friendly. Will most definitely re visit.
