This beautifully refurbished townhouse is situated on one of the main streets in the heart of the popular Northumberland town of Haltwistle, and is conveniently placed with a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants right on your doorstep. Dumbuie provides a perfect base for a large family or group of friends wanting to explore this lovely area.

As you enter the property, six steps lead you to a cosy sitting room with comfortable leather sofas and log burner, ideal for relaxing around after a busy day of sightseeing. There is a lovely modern well-equipped kitchen and a dining table large enough to seat all guests, just perfect for spending time socialising and planning your next day ahead. There are four stylish king-size bedrooms on the first floor, along with a contemporary family bathroom and shower room. A master double bedroom featuring a super king-size double bed and beautiful en-suite bathroom with slipper bath can be found on the second floor. Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard with garden furniture, where you can relax with a cool drink during the summer months. Haltwhistle offers many attractions including popular shops and pubs serving excellent food, perfect for treating yourself to a spot of lunch. Hadrian's Wall, one of the most popular visitor destinations in the North of England, is only 2 miles away, as well as an abundance of walking, cycling, fishing and golf. Within driving distance, you can discover the delights of the Heritage Coast including Alnwick with its famous castle and gardens, Holy Island, Berwick and Cragside at Rothbury. Dumbuie is a fabulous property in a fantastic area for that long awaited family holiday.

Known as the 'Centre of Britain', the small market town of Haltwhistle is a great place from which to explore both Northumberland and Cumbria. One of the best preserved stretches of Hadrian's Wall is only a mile to the north with various museums, forts and milecastles to be seen. This truly is magnificent walking, riding and cycling country, with various bridleways and cycle routes passing rivers, forests, castles and of course, Hadrian's Wall.

    The kitchen had everything we needed to make big family meals each day. The house was exceptionally warm and we didn’t need the fire lit in February! The house is well Located with shops and for us a local EV point for our electric car. Location great, beautiful walks right on your door step . We loved it, and would definately come back and recommend to others.
