The cottage's charm and the owners' attentiveness contributed to many positive experiences.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the cottage clean and comfortable, with only a few mentioning minor cleanliness issues that were easily rectified. The presence of fresh flowers and a welcome pack suggests good overall hygiene standards.

The cottage's location is highly praised for being quiet and secluded yet conveniently close to major attractions and the A1, making it an ideal base for exploring Northumberland.

Guests found the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, especially with the log burner. However, some noted that space could be limited for larger groups and that the spiral staircase might be challenging for some.

The cottage is well-equipped with necessary amenities and a welcome pack. However, several reviews mentioned issues with the shower and bathroom facilities, indicating a need for maintenance and upgrades.

The owners' thoughtfulness is evident through the provision of welcome packs and local information. While these gestures are appreciated, it should be noted that such extras, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.
