Situated a short walk from Bamburgh town centre, this contemporary lodge is in an ideal location for a family. You can enter the property via the rear door and into an open-plan fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting room, with an attractive half wall between the kitchen and living room. The kitchen is a wonderfully modern style, with soft grey cabinets and white tiling, and houses a large table with seating for up to eight people. The spacious living room has plenty of comfortable sofas, with a smart flatscreen TV and a cosy woodburning stove, as well as luxurious vinyl flooring. From the living room is a large shower room, and two bedrooms: one king-size and one twin room. From the kitchen is another king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC. Off-road parking is available. Outside has a wrap-around decking, with a large corner sofa, as well as a raised decking area. The living area was comfortable and well stocked with everything needed for our stay. The bedrooms were quite small and there wasn't a great deal of storage. OK if you're only there for a few days but less so if you're there for a week. The hot tub was brilliant - the best we've used.

We were very comfortable. Just a few v minor extras that would be welcome: oven gloves, rubber mat for shower (bit slippery), glass casserole with lid for microwave & how about an egg poacher?? Thoroughly enjoyed our week & would happily return.
