Restharrow Lodge in Bamburgh is highly praised for its beautiful location, comfort, and luxurious hot tub. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like a welcome pack and cleanliness. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is one of relaxation and enjoyment in a peaceful setting, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The lodge generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with guests finding it clean and well-maintained. However, some guests noted areas that were overlooked and room for improvement, particularly with dust and cobwebs, which slightly lowers the score.

The location is consistently lauded for its tranquillity, proximity to Bamburgh, and beautiful surroundings. The scenic views and peaceful environment contribute to a high score, with only minor comments about the distance to local shops.

Guests find the lodge comfortable, with luxurious bedding and a cosy atmosphere. The spaciousness and modern amenities contribute to a high level of comfort, though some guests mentioned a lack of storage space and issues with heating control.

The facilities, especially the hot tub, are a highlight for many guests. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as difficulty operating TVs, a dripping tap, and a need for updated visitor information, which affects the score.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like the welcome pack and the provision of essentials. While these gestures are well-received, it is noted that such gifts are a bonus and not guaranteed with every stay.

The living area was comfortable and well stocked with everything needed for our stay. The bedrooms were quite small and there wasn't a great deal of storage. OK if you're only there for a few days but less so if you're there for a week. The hot tub was brilliant - the best we've used.

We were very comfortable. Just a few v minor extras that would be welcome: oven gloves, rubber mat for shower (bit slippery), glass casserole with lid for microwave & how about an egg poacher?? Thoroughly enjoyed our week & would happily return.

So peaceful, especially at night when you’re in the hot tub
