We certainly found a little gem of a cottage when we first came last November and have just enjoyed our second visit. The cottage is so well equipped, immaculately clean and comfortable and a welcome pack to get you started! The owners also go above and beyond by providing dish washer and washing machine tablets/pods, washing up liquid and hand wash in kitchen and bathroom and salt and pepper, oil and vinegar plus many other bits and pieces, Thank you Barbara! A great base in Amble to visit all our favourite places up and down the beautiful coastline. We have already booked again for November this year and February next year so that speaks volumes!

It was very clean, warm and comfortable and one of the best equipped cottages we have ever stayed in. It had been decorated for Christmas and looked wonderful ! The gift of eggs, milk, biscuits and fizz (which we enjoyed on New Year's Eve) was very welcome. The cottage is only a few minutes walk from the shops and lovely harbour and marina and there is a Morrisons about a 10 minute walk away. We walked into Warkworth twice which is a gorgeous little place and ate at the Hermitage Inn which was very friendly and food good. We walked very briskly and it took us about half an hour. We were very lucky with the weather and managed to get out every day, only using the car once to go to Alnwick. All in all a fantastic holiday in a fantastic cottage !
