Very clean, appreciated the big fluffy bath towels provided. Cottage had everything we needed and is well presented. Alston has a couple of shops and pubs and is a great base for exploring the North Pennines area. Parking is on the road outside, but we parked easily every day. Previous guests have mentioned lack of welcome pack such as milk and agree this would be a welcome addition, but lack of one didnât detract from our experience overall.
