Guests have enjoyed the comfortable setting and the property's suitability for family gatherings. The local pub proximity and the house's original features add to the charm, although the pub's availability may vary. The property is within a short drive to Durham, enhancing its appeal for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday experience.

The location is appreciated for its proximity to Durham and the convenience of having a pub nearby, though the village itself may not be a highlight. The secure garden is a plus for dog owners.

The master bedroom is noted for comfort, but some guests found the beds a bit uncomfortable and one of the twin rooms more suitable for children. Overall, the property is spacious and comfortable.

The property boasts well-used facilities such as a hot tub, sauna, and games room. However, there is a suggestion to improve the sauna area. The garden and BBQ facilities were perfect for the weather.

While guests have had a fabulous time, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to score this category.

Had a great time at moss house had one small issue and owner came straight round so that was amazing only couple of downsides was one of the twin rooms I would say is only suitable for children due to low beams and sauna would be better to either extend room or make an en suite beds were a bit uncomfortable except the master bedroom and could do with a gate which I understand can be hard due to a thorough fate but had an amazing time thank you would definitely come back
