Seawood House is a stunning double fronted period house. Set over four floors, the house accommodates eight people, and will appeal to families - especially those who like to enjoy their own space - and couples or friends wanting a fabulous holiday house with contemporary interiors in a superb location. As you enter the house from the front door, you know you've come to stay somewhere a bit different and rather special. On the ground floor there is a spacious dining room, a sophisticated snug/sitting room (spot the Moomin lamp!), a well-equipped kitchen and downstairs shower room. From the kitchen, steps (mind your head!) lead down to a great basement conversion, softly lit by natural light from the light wells at the front of the house. Here there's a television room as well as a games room with ping pong table to keep everyone entertained. On the first floor there are three bedrooms (king-size, twin, and bunk) and a family bathroom. The striking top floor bedroom has a 'loft living' look and one of the best views in the house. Outside there is a courtyard garden, and an out-house with washer/dryer.
Step outside the front door, and you are only a few minutes' walk from the centre of this ever popular seaside town, with its bustling quayside, independent shops, cafes and gastro pubs. There is something here for everyone, at any time of year and whatever your age, and once you've discovered this super house you will want to return again and again.

All the stairs in the house are on the steep side, so might not be suitable for anyone with limited mobility.

We stayed in this beautiful house for four days, not nearly long enough. It is in a superb location just off the Quay, very close to all the restaurants,(it’s only a few doors along from the very popular Wells Crab house) shops, the small train and footpath to the beach and a stop for the excellent bus service. The house is detached and double fronted with a garden for barbecue and out door eating. Inside it is beautifully appointed, absolutely pristine and equipped with all you could possibly want. The beds are very comfortable and the shower most efficient. There is a great hideaway in the cellar with TV and table tennis and is splendid for keeping the young happy. We had most enjoyable holiday and would recommend this house to any group of ages.

This is a great place for families, with good space, well equipped, the bonus of table tennis and an excellent location. Some doorways are low, so it requires expert ducking! Nearby crabbing, beaches, wild walks and a stately home for rowing and tea are a bonus!

Lovely family home, ideal for families. Very clean, good beds, well organised kitchen with a large fridge. Convenient to have use of washer drier. Nice little courtyard garden, (though could do with more seating out there). We’d definitely recommend it to our friends and consider staying again.
