Puffin Cottage is a pretty end of terrace cottage built in the 1800's and located in a very peaceful cul-de-sac in the Georgian town of Holt. Cosy and comfortable with an open fire to warm toes in the winter and a garden and barbecue to enjoy during warmer times, it is an ideal spot to enjoy this popular part of Norfolk. The cottage is only a five minute walk from the town centre with its boutique shopping, independent stores, art & antique galleries and numerous places to eat. The nearby Holt Country Park is a great space for the family and your four-legged friends to let off steam for the family and has plenty of marked trails to explore, whilst the North Norfolk Steam Railway, which runs from Holt to the coastal resort of Sheringham, makes for an enjoyable day out for everyone. Notes: This is a non-smoking property. The cottage has a steep staircase and narrow doorways and is not suitable for guests with mobility issues. Mobile signal - strong.
The lovely Georgian town of Holt has a charm and character all of its own and boasts a selection of interesting shops, including many antique shops, as well as good restaurants, pubs and tea rooms. On the edge of the town the Green Flag awarded Holt Country Park has over 100 acres of woodland to discover with many organised events and there is also excellent bird watching in the area. The coastal villages of Blakeney and Cley are just five miles away with the sandy beach at Sheringham a further six miles.
