Ideal for nature lovers, birdwatchers, walkers, cyclists and beach-lovers alike, Kingsley Cottage welcomes six guests, friends and families alike, to bask in the ultimate getaway in East Anglia. Cross the threshold into your new home-from-home and discover an inviting living space complete with plush sofas and a TV so you can unwind after a long day with some light entertainment; allow the designated chef to become acquainted with the well-equipped kitchen/diner and settle down to eat in front of the open fire. Alternatively, the sitting room offers a light space with patio doors opening out to the decked area and enclosed back garden for alfresco dining on a summer’s evening. Upstairs there are three attractive bedrooms including a double and two twins, providing flexible accommodation for six guests, with a spacious ground-floor family bathroom with bath and shower over so you can indulge a long soak or refresh before heading to the local pub. Surrounded by beautiful coastline, stunning countryside and the famous Norfolk Broads, there is plenty to do close by; travel to one of several stunning beaches including Sea Palling Beach, Winterton Beach or Walcott Beach where you can watch the world pass by or unwind with a good book. History buffs will appreciate a trip to the Museum of Broads or the National Trust owned Horsey Windpump whereas younger members of the group will have a great day at Hirst’s Family Fun Park or Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens. The market town of Stalham is a typical North Norfolk town, with a high street that has a decent selection of shops and restaurants. In addition to regular sales in the town hall, there is a small market that visits on Tuesdays and a farmers' market every other Saturday. A museum that will give you a better understanding of the Broadland ecosystem is essential as Stalham is one of the main starting sites for boating vacations on the Norfolk Broads. This is the ideal starting point for exploring the Norfolk Broads and shoreline because it is only a few miles inland from wonderful beaches.
