About this property

Enjoy Norfolk and its big open skies at this delightful bungalow tucked away on a quiet lane in a lovely Broadland village.

If life in the fast lane has tired you out of late, stop...switch off...and enjoy a break at this newly refurbished Broadland bungalow.  Beautifully presented with everything you need, Valdoon, has a lovely sunny garden, a cosy living room with woodburner, two comfortable bedrooms with a TV in both, a well-equipped kitchen and a good sized bathroom with both a bath and shower. The property welcomes dogs too.

There is plenty to do in the area with walks directly from the front door - head one way to the pub, head the other to Hickling Broad, which is a beautiful location for hiring a boat, walking some of the well marked trails or birdwatching.  Just a few miles away at Stalham Staithe, there is an interesting Broadland museum and here you can also join the steamer Falcon, which makes regular trips down the river Ant. Another 'must see' are the splendid sandy beaches of the east coast. Take a drive to Waxham or Sea Palling and run amongst the sand dunes or take a stroll on the beach, look out for seals who are regular visitors to the north sea at this stretch of coast and from November you may spot a new born put or two.
