Clare Cottage was a dream come true. It was a pleasure to return to the cottage each day after trips around North Norfolk, knowing we could sit outside and enjoy the peaceful surroundings (with a nice glass of wine or two) and wait for the barn owl to swoop across the meadow that formed part of the property. The bedrooms were great, the household appliances were excellent and the power shower was an unexpected delight. We will certainly make every effort to return as soon as possible.

Clare Cottage is a well appointed large cottage in the beautiful village of Gunthorpe, a short drive from the coast. The house is well equipped, and has a large utility space, useful for dogs. The garage houses many items, such as deck chairs, buckets and spades and two bicycles. There are two spacious bedrooms, with attractive low windows, framed by roses in summer, and a childrens' room with 4 bunk beds. There is a large selection of toys in a downstairs room, (which also contains a single bed), for children under ten. The garden is large, with a meadow containing wild flowers, and a view of Gunthorpe Church in the distance.

Cottage is in a very quiet village, well appointed and a lovely place to relax, and enjoy a quiet break in the lovely countryside. We will miss the sunny evenings on the patio enjoying watching the sun going down. Not far from many lovely pubs for food.
