The Burrow is approached via a long private gravelled driveway in the popular coastal village of Old Hunstanton. Having been upgraded to provide modern amenities to comfortably sleep eight guests, the property is perfectly placed - just a five minute walk to the beautiful beaches and fabulous link golf course at Old Hunstanton. The Royal & West Norfolk Golf Club and Brancaster Sailing Club are just a ten minute drive away, as are the rspb nature reserves of Titchwell and Snettisham. The coastal path is at the top of the drive.

Old Hunstanton has a local village store and post office which sells fresh produce, including freshly baked bread and croissants, a beach café, a number of pubs and restaurants including The Mariners Inn which has a super lawned garden which runs right down to the sand dunes and beach! Great beaches for kite surfing and windsurfing are within a few minutes walk of the house.

Lovely house in a great spot. Plenty of room for six adults, comfortable and well equipped. The sun was rather shy so it was a bit chilly for the beach. Instead we spent a lot of time in the house and enjoyed playing table tennis in the garden and relaxing and listening to the birds. We even saw partridges and heard cuckoos. Very quiet spot away from the road.

Three generations and a dog. There were 6 adults, a three year old, two one year olds and a small dog. We chose the Burrow because of the en suite facilities! We were not disappointed. A large well equipped kitchen, a big sitting/dining room, a separate lounge with tv and five toilets meant there was plenty of room for all. The DVD player was broken and I wasn’t sure how to report it, but it didn’t spoil the stay. The secluded garden was also well used, with table tennis and barbecues provided. The walk to the beach was less than 10 minutes and down small lanes (no roads) so the location was perfect. The beach was clean and not busy with miles of sand - dog friendly too. If you want the noise and attractions of Hunstanton it’s a pleasant 40 minute walk along the cliff tops, or a five minute drive. It was a family holiday to remember and it will be difficult to beat. The Burrow was the perfect place for a fantastic family get together.
