About this property

Situated in the genteel coastal village of Heacham, Cheney Hollow is a traditional Norfolk carrstone and flint detached cottage full of charm and character, set in mature landscaped gardens. This dog and family-friendly cottage was originally three farm labourers cottages, now converted into a larger fully modernised property.

The bright triple aspect kitchen/ breakfast room forms the heart of the home, and is well-equipped with an Aga and Neff double oven, plus all the essentials any enthusiastic chef could need. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out, with a choice of reception rooms, a games room hosting a small snooker table and football table, a playroom for younger children, as well as a large enclosed garden featuring a terrace and lawns. Three generous first floor bedrooms all have access to an en-suite bath or shower. For larger families, there is a sofa bed in the conservatory/ playroom which is suitable for accommodating two extra children, if required.

Set in the quiet coastal village of Heacham, Cheney Hollow sits between the two shingled sandy beaches of North Beach and South Beach, ideal for long beach walks with your four legged friends! For larger groups the neighbouring cottage, Badger's Den, can be booked with Cheney Hollow. Please enquire for further details and pricing.

Cheney Hollow is also available as a sleeps two option: Cheney Hollow (2) or sleeps eight option: Cheney Hollow (8).

Lovely cosy spacious cottage with excellent facilities. Good location for exploring north Norfolk. Big safe garden for children/ dogs. Delightful big village with several good pubs!

Stunning cottage and beautifully warm for a cold February weekend. Comfortable bedroom and lovely bathroom, and plenty of great areas to relax in downstairs. Well-equipped kitchen - loved the Aga. Our dog was very happy at Cheney Hollow and enjoyed the big, secure garden, as well as early morning walks to the beach every day. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We love this fabulous spacious cottage in a sunny peaceful location. 3 generations of our family loved our stay here. The patio is a gorgeous suntrap and the spacious lawn areas are beautiful. It is so comfortable with quality comfortable furnishings and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. We all enjoyed our stay here from our 18 month old toddler to Grandad. We would love to come back again.
