Snaptrip says

Sheppard's Hut is a charming cottage in Norfolk, appreciated for its peaceful rural setting and friendly owners. Guests enjoy the lovely views, spacious garden, and the property's suitability for dogs. The cottage's comfortable beds and clean essentials contribute to a relaxing stay, despite some dated aspects of the kitchen and bathroom.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is generally clean with particular attention to bedding, towels, and bathroom. However, some guests noted the presence of dog hair and a musty smell, suggesting room for improvement in cleaning detail.

The location is highly praised for its tranquility, beautiful views, and proximity to local attractions. The rural setting is perfect for guests seeking a peaceful retreat, although the presence of motor homes may occasionally impact the view and privacy.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the setting relaxing, contributing to a pleasant stay. Some guests mentioned the furniture being too large or dated, indicating that while the accommodation is cosy, there is potential for enhancing overall comfort.

The facilities are adequate, with a well-equipped kitchen and secure garden. However, multiple reviews suggest that the kitchen and bathroom require updating, and the lack of Wi-Fi and modern amenities like a microwave are noted.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches provided by the hosts in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness in terms of gifts. Therefore, this score is set to null.

The secure garden was ideal for our JRT Cooper, who loved meeting the chickens, and gave him plenty of room to chase his ball.Great base for exploring the many places of interest in the surrounding area. Though it's not a deal breaker, the cottage would benefit from having a toaster (as using the grill whilst cooking on the hob isn't ideal). To elevate this property to get 100% Five stars the addition of Internet access should be considered. That aside, we had a fantastic time and would definitely return. Kind regards, Sue, Robin and Cooper.

We found the property was clean and tidy and well looked after all facilities good the only thing I can say is that there was no hairdryer and no internet so had to increase my mobile data but I would recommend the property to my family and friends

We love peace and quiet and that's what we got, great location to walk the lanes and sea wall, and close to King's Lynn and Sandringham
