An attractive brick and flint modern detached house in a quiet residential location just five minutes' walk from the centre of Burnham Market.
Owl Cottage offers beautifully furnished and well-equipped comfortable holiday accommodation for eight, ideal for families, couples and friends to enjoy all year round. The house has four bedrooms; three on the first floor (king-size, double and bunk), along with three bathrooms and, on the ground floor, a twin bedroom has a double width entry door and its own en-suite with a large shower with handrails. There is a superb large modern fitted kitchen with Foras stone floor and stunning dining area with a vaulted ceiling and french doors to three sides opening out onto the patio and enclosed, private garden. This is a great place for family meals and sociable get-togethers, summer and winter. The adjacent sitting room is really comfortable, and lovely and cosy with an open fire, just perfect for relaxing, chatting the night away and catching up with television favourites on Netflix and Amazon Prime. A small snug, with day bed, desk and television is an alternative quiet space for reading, watching television - or working, if you must!
Owl Cottage is tucked away from the main hub of the village, but it is easily reached on foot. Stroll down and enjoy the pretty village green with its grand Georgian houses, charming cottages, independent boutiques, shops and galleries, and an excellent choice of cafes, pubs and restaurants.
A ten minute drive will take you to the stunning North Norfolk coast with its wide open sandy beaches. There are two sea kayaks available for guests use at their own risk.

Owl Cottage is a lovely home from home. Spacious yet cosy. You can tell it is a much-loved holiday home by the family who own it. We loved the dining area in the kitchen with its lovely bi-fold doors. The peace and quiet was fabulous. Sat out stargazing on clear nights, or listening to the birds each morning with our morning cuppa on the bench. We were blessed with lovely weather bar the one it rained. Regardless, we enjoyed every moment of our time in Norfolk. As National Trust members we visited Blickling Hall.

The cottage was a lovely surprise to us. Although a busy area, the cottage is tucked away in a peaceful area. The garden suited our extended family, including our small dogs and young grandson. We had a weekend of really hot weather so the garden was ideal. The area offers so much - beautiful beach at Brancaster, lovely walks at Burnham Overy Staithe (memories of childhood!) and RSPB Titchwell - to mention just a few. Lovely meal with friends at No.29. Our grandson enjoyed The Sea Life Centre at Hunstanton. All in all, a very enjoyable time for all the family.

Fabulous week in this lovely house. Loved the cricket books, and the kids enjoyed the DVDs in the evening. We have loved sitting in the kitchen, or on the patio, morning and evening. Lovely homely feel about the house with plenty of good instructions in the property guide. The kids enjoyed playing in the garden, and there was plenty of space and light everywhere to read, chat and play board games. Less than an hour to Felbrigg Hall, and we visited Blakeney, Cley, Holkham, Wells, Burnham Overy Staithe - all the most beautiful places in the world!
