Driftwood House is a light and airy contemporary detached property situated in Brancaster. It really does have the 'wow' factor. The accommodation is ‘upside down’ to take advantage of the views over the salt marshes towards the sea.
The sitting room is comfortable and has the advantage of a contemporary wood burning stove for the cooler months. There is plenty of seating and the kitchen is well-equipped. All the bedrooms are downstairs, and the fourth bedroom can be either used as a bedroom using the sofa bed with proper mattress, or as a sun room with access to the gardens through the french doors.
Brancaster is known for its simply stunning beach. It stretches for miles, backed by gentle sand dunes and the famous links golf course of The Royal West Norfolk Golf Club.
Additional Information
Please note there is no stair gate, so not suitable for families with small children.

Had a great stay at Driftwood House, this is a very well appointed, clean and comfortable holiday let with an interesting upside down layout. It’s in an ideal place for exploring North Norfolk. Driftwood House is on our, "We will Return" list which says it all.

Enjoyed a great week at Driftwood House. 2 of us + 2 daughters and their partners. Plenty of space, very well equipped. The ‘upside down’ house worked perfectly – the top living space is huge and airy with loads of light and suits a family herd moving about, loafing, cooking, eating, watching telly etc. Also fantastic sunsets. The outdoor space was also well set out and allowed us to entertain a couple of friends for safe, socially distanced meals. Location is fantastic. Brancaster is beautiful and pretty centrally located for North Norfolk coast. You are 5 mins from village shop. A few more to Ship Inn. 5 mins from boardwalk across the back of the marshes. 15/20 mins to Brancaster beach. Highly recommend the takeaway moules frites (etc) from the Mussel Pod in neighbouring Brancaster Staithe. Also you really need to pre-book popular stuff, including meals, trips to see seals, Houghton Hall, while everyone is staycationing – we only managed one sit-down meal out as everything was booked up. All in all a great house in a superb location. Certainly considering returning.
