The lodge was beautifully clean. The hot tub was fantastic and maintained every day. There were a couple of minor issues that affected how much I would be willing to pay in the future (we paid 2021 prices as our holiday was cancelled in lockdown and the ‘22 prices are much steeper and these issues would need to be rectified to make that worth it).1. The mattress did not fit the bed frame (overhang of approx 6inches)2. No towels or even bath mats included- consequently when we arrived there was evident water damage to bathroom floor.3.providing the bare minimum of 4 plates/cups etc… is not enough unless you want to run the dishwasher after every meal/cup of tea, for a luxury price I would expect double the place settings of the people staying.4. Still no cushions on the sofas- I think we are past the point of the pandemic where it is reasonable to say cushions need to be taken away for covid precautions but the sofa itself isn’t a risk…

We were relocated here as our holiday was cancelled so we’re grateful for that. The questions above are slightly difficult to answer as the holiday camp was just not to our taste. However the caravan(lodge) was sadly so close to the building site and being woken at 8am by a digger starting up was very upsetting! I know that we didn’t pay full price for this as I said we were relocated but know knowing how much this would have been it is certainly not worth the money. We have stayed in much bigger more secluded lodges which were much better value for money
